Help Dejan's Hospital Bills from Suicide Attempt

The Situation:
In August 2020 I traveled from Las Vegas, NV to Blacksburg, VA alone for college at Virginia Tech. After discovering my ex-boyfriend decided to not move back, less than a month before our move-in, I was faced with the financial stress of figuring out rent. Some mutual friends decided to harass, bully, and slander me leaving me under intense stress. Heartbroken, alone, betrayed, under financial stress, and taking 18 credit hours left me psychologically overwhelmed. On September 4th, 2020 I attempted suicide through overdose and toxic chemicals. Thankfully, a close friend of mine found me and rushed me to the hospital.
I was treated at Carilion Hospital, where I spent 1 week being treated and monitored and where I was blessed to have my life saved and obtain psychological treatment. I was then referred to psychiatry and therapy, which are now being continued as I heal.
Help Needed:
After health insurance, I was left with a hospital bill totalling just above $10,000. Being an out of state student and a first generation child, this amount is impossible to cover, even whilst working part time as a full time student. After exploring many options, the total is difficult for me and my mom. I am reaching out now as time is fleeting and I have been threatened with debt collection. Any amount is greatly appreciated and will be put towards the bills. This can help reduce stress by allowing me to focus on my coursework and my own mental treatment. I understand it is a difficult time for everyone, so even a share will be an amazing way to help.
About Me:
I, Dejan Djukic (middle above), am a sophomore computer science major at Virginia Tech, transitioning to Hospitality and Tourism Management. I grew up in Las Vegas, where I attended the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, majoring in piano for 4 years. When I'm not focused on schoolwork, I enjoy making music, photography, and cooking. I'm also in the process of self-publishing both a poetry and cookbook. I work in retail part-time to help support myself through college.
