Degrowth London is an activist collective brought together by a shared belief that achieving just and sustainable futures requires a fundamental transformation of society beyond capitalism, and that degrowth forms an essential and desirable part of this transformation.

We host reading groups, deliver educational talks and workshops, create digital tools on degrowth and much more in order to build support for degrowth and strengthen networks of grassroots action.

Our website is a crucial way for people to find out about who we are, what we're up to and how to get involved. It is currently hosted by the platform Wix, but we are looking to switch to Squarespace as Wix is an Israeli company and on the BDS list. However, hosting the site on Squarespace is significantly more expensive.

Degrowth London is a completely volunteer-run collective that does not receive any regular funding to run our core activities (such as the website). That's why we're asking those followers and supporters who are able to help us pay to switch to Squarespace. Our target for the fundraiser is £170 which would cover one year of website hosting on Squarespace. However, if we manage to raise more than our target we will put this towards funding future years of the website.
