Help Defne Heal Her Heart & Find a Safe Home

From the moment Defne entered the world, life has been a battle for every heartbeat. Born with a combination of rare congenital heart defects, she has faced challenges most children will never know.

Despite surgeries and hospital stays, Defne keeps smiling, playing, and dreaming — but the road ahead is long. Doctors have warned that she will need lifelong monitoring, regular heart scans, medications, and possibly future surgeries to prevent life-threatening complications.

But medical struggles aren’t the only hardship she faces. After the devastating earthquake, Defne and her mother lost their home. They have been living in a temporary container shelter — until recently, when they were displaced again. They are now homeless, without a safe or suitable place to live.

Our goal is to raise enough funds to:

1. Cover her ongoing medical treatments, tests, and hospital visits.

2. Help secure a permanent, safe home for Defne and her mother, so she can recover in a stable, healthy environment.

The emotional and financial toll on this small family is immense. Between hospital visits, the uncertainty of shelter, and the trauma of losing everything, they are fighting for both survival and stability.
