Help Defend Lennon & Kameron's Rights

I am launching a GoFundMe campaign to help Lennon and Kameron Pepera with the mounting legal costs they are facing. Lennon, Kameron, and Colors+ Counseling are currently engaged in a legal dispute with Colors+, a matter they firmly contest. Colors+ was started by Lennon and Kameron Pepera in 2018. Lennon and Kameron both served as board members initially; then Lennon held the position of Deputy Director until August 2023, and Kameron was the Executive Director until being terminated while on medical leave in July 2024. They deny the allegations made by the plaintiffs and are preparing to file a formal answer to the claims, outlining their side of the case with detailed facts and evidence. In addition to responding, they are also exploring the possibility of filing counterclaims to address violations of their legal rights and protections.

Since July 2024, Lennon and Kameron have made every effort to resolve this issue amicably, attempting to reach a settlement without resorting to litigation. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, the case has now advanced to Federal Court.

Throughout this challenging time, when the LGBTQ+ community is being targeted by outside forces, Lennon and Kameron have remained deeply committed to their work with Colors+ Counseling, where they provide crucial mental health support to individuals, particularly in the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to their counseling services, they continue to advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, collaborate with local nonprofits, and offer psychoeducation to foster inclusivity and understanding. Their dedication to these causes is unwavering, even in the face of this legal challenge.
