Help defend Barb Thayer from revenge Federal Lawsuit filed by Cal Harris

For more than two decades, my mom Barb Thayer has carried the responsibility of serving as a witness in the homicide trial of Cal Harris, who was accused of the murder of his wife, Michele, on September 11, 2001.

Barb worked for the Harris family for many years as a nanny and housekeeper. She cared deeply for Michele and the children and has always spoken with warmth and gratitude about her time with the family. Known for her kindness, honesty, and integrity, Barb has long been a respected member of her community.

Barb has been named in a civil lawsuit filed by Cal Harris. The case is now scheduled to begin on November 1st in Albany, NY. The change of venue and length of the proceedings will incur enormous legal and travel expenses.

The upcoming expenses are in addition to the substantial costs already incurred over the past four years of preparations. Although her attorney has been flexible, the financial burden is far greater than she can manage on her own.
