My father has always been strong. Strong enough to always provide for our family and stronger to bring us to the United States from the Philippines over a decade ago. He has been devoted to my siblings and I throughout the entirety of our lives and he has been more than dedicated to taking care of our permanent disabled mother who had a stroke 16 years ago. Now, it is our turn to be strong for him as he struggles in the battle against stage 4 lung cancer which has spread to his brain. At the time of writing this post, my father is in the hospital being treated for pneumonia as his immune system has been weakened from his treatments.
It is easy to create a GoFundMe. It is a little less easy to upload a vulnerable photo. But what is really hard is asking for assistance in a time where so many are struggling for a multitude of reasons. At this time my family and I ask for your assistance to help us at this very dire time. Any amount whether big or small is a great help as the funds we raise will go toward his treatment (radiation and chemotherapy), family bills, food and other essentials.

Since 12/20/20 - My dad's liver is already affected by his terminal cancer. My father had been providing needs in our family and taking care of my permanent disabled mother who had a stroke sixteen years ago besides my contribution of being a caregiver to my mother. I also struggle physically with ulcer, chronic back issue, and other pains and damaged nerves causing me sometimes to walk with difficulty . My brother has been actively working in the navy over 10 years but is struggling with depression and my sister has been stressful working hard and is lack of sleep because of everything going on. She has been diagnosed with gall bladder stone. My sister is now the one that handles everything, for my father's procedure in the hospital and taking the doctors advice and paper works. The whole family are dealing with high blood pressure and are taking medication for maintenance. Thank you very much for all your love offering in prayers. May God bless each and everyone.
