Hi everyone,

I’m so heartbroken as I write this. My sweet dog Deezul my little baby, my hiking buddy, my best friend was hit by a car while trying to make his way home. The person who hit him didn’t even stop. They didn’t check to see if he was okay. They didn’t check on me. They just drove off.

Because of the impact, Deezul now has to have his leg amputated. It’s devastating to even say that, let alone face the reality of it. He’s been so brave through all of this, and I want to do everything I can to give him the care, comfort, and support he needs to recover and adjust.

Deezul is more than a pet he’s family. We’ve been through so much together, and he’s been by my side on hikes, in hard times, and through so many beautiful memories. I can’t imagine life without his goofy, loving spirit and right now, he needs help to heal.

I’m currently in school and preparing to start law school soon, so finances are already tight. The cost of his surgery, treatment, and aftercare is more than I can manage alone. I’m doing everything I can, but I could really use help.
