It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden and heartbreaking passing of Ishavpreet Singh — a loving husband, soon-to-be father, dear friend, and cherished member of our community. Ishavpreet tragically passed away in New Jersey recently, leaving behind his wife, Deepika, who is 8 months pregnant.

Born and raised in India, Ishavpreet later moved to Canada, where he became a proud Canadian citizen. Two years ago, he relocated to New Jersey in the United States in pursuit of better job security and a brighter future for his family. He was a kind, humble, and compassionate soul who touched the lives of many with his warmth, generosity, and strong sense of community. He was the anchor of his family and was eagerly preparing to welcome their baby into the world. His sudden loss has left an unimaginable void in the lives of his loved ones.

Now, Deepika faces a future that has changed overnight. In just a few weeks, she will welcome their child while coping with the devastating grief of losing her husband. Adding to her challenges; Ishavpreet’s passing has created serious immigration uncertainties for her and the baby, leaving her in an extremely vulnerable position — emotionally, financially, and legally.

We have created this fundraiser to support Deepika and her baby with:
