Our friend Deepa, a mother of two teenage boys, in her mid-40s was diagnosed with stage 4 Metastatic colon cancer in Sept 2017.   Despite very aggressive chemo and targeted radiation the cancer has spread to her liver, spine, lungs and head.  She is in the hospital now fighting an infection and desperately trying to eat and gain strength.   Months of chemo and radiation has been exhausting.  Because of her very weak condition the doctors have stopped all treatment and advised the family that she only has few weeks left.  Doctors are suggesting in-home hospice care which will be financially challenging but it will allow her to spend the limited time she has with her two young boys and her husband Jay.  Your generous donation will help Deepa and her family (her two sons and husband Jay Shukla)  cope in her last few weeks she has left.  No amount is too small, please do whatever you can to help.  Thank you.
