Help Deekin Fight for His Life

Hi, my name is Richard Doyle. I am setting this fundraiser up for my 3-year-old Saint Bernard, Deekin.

Deek is currently fighting for his life. I left for work and he was his normal happy self. He took a treat from me as I went out the door for work, and when I got home that night, he was barely able to walk. He would not eat or drink, and his breathing was raspy, so I rushed him to the vet. He is bruised all over, and tests show his platelet count is almost zero. His temperature was a little over 105 this morning; the vet was able to get it to 103, but 101 is considered normal. He needs to go to KU Med for a transfusion to get his immune system back in place. I applied for pet care credit, but that only helped to cover my visit last night. Anyone with pets knows that vets are not cheap, and they don't do anything without the money upfront! I can use help and prayers now.
