Help Deea be able to walk again
Donation protected
This is 8 year old Deea. In October 2022, she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma stage IIB, which is a type of bone cancer. Due to the diagnosis, the leg affected had to be amputated. Despite all of this at such a young age, she is optimistic and always has a smile on her face. She is now only able to move using a wheelchair, but wishes more than anything to be able to enjoy her childhood to the fullest. She needs to raise over £22000 for physical rehabilitation and a leg prosthetic.
In order to raise as much money for her as possible. In the month of July this year I will be attempting to hit a 180kg total in Olympic weightlifting as well as aiming to complete my first ever triathlon in less than 10 hours for a full Ironman distance.
I have dedicated the last 2 years of my life to training for this always with a goal of raising money in honour of my late Grandad who passed away thinking I would complete an Ironman one day.
Then when my friend and colleague shared Deaa’s story I could think of no better cause to donate too. To help give her niece her childhood back❤️.
