Help Dee Recover from Phishing Scam Loss
Donation protected
My name is Bridgette, and I worked with Shawna (Dee) Perdue for many years at Via Christi. She was the warmest, kindest, most welcoming person, and a friend to so many of us. She recently fell victim to a covert phishing scam and lost a significant amount of money. It is the worst nightmare for any retiree, or friends and family members. Please consider contributing what you can so we can help Dee regain some of her financial security after the scam and leading into the holiday months.
We are living in already difficult economic times for many on retirement or fixed incomes, and the scammers prey on those same people. She gave so much to so many of us, and any amount would help let Dee know that she has people by her side!
I would love for us to circle around Dee and help her recover some of what was lost since she will not benefit from fraud services through her bank, and her complaint with the FTC may not help in the recovery of funds regardless.
Dee was interviewed by Fact Finder on KWCH to tell her story solely in the hopes of informing other seniors and retirees of how tricky these scammers can be, and help try and prevent this from happening to others.
