I’m Dee, and I’m raising funds for myself after being illegally evicted by my landlord. This has left me homeless and trying to navigate an incredibly stressful and overwhelming situation all at once. On top of losing my housing, I now have to cover lawyer fees and court costs so I can stand up for myself and handle everything properly. At the same time, I’m working a minimum wage job and waiting for my next paycheck, which makes it even harder to come up with what I need right away to find somewhere safe to stay.

The donations from this fundraiser will help me pay for legal and court fees and also help me secure a room to rent by covering the first month, last month, and security deposit. Right now, I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but I can’t do it alone.
