Help Dee Overcome Unexpected Challenges

Our amazing friend Dee “Coach Dee” was recently hit by a car and has suffered serious injuries - severe skin abrasions, facial wounds from impact, bulging discs in her cervical spine, and complete numbness in her right hand.

Dee and her friend were getting out of the car parked in a parking lane on the street when suddenly a car struck them. Despite suffering injuries, Dee managed to help her friend that was trapped underneath the car.

Dee is the passionate sole owner and instructor of Eight RVA Gym, and is a beloved part of the Richmond community and loved by all who know her. Due to her injuries, she’s unable to host classes and operate her gym. Dee has limited insurance coverage and due to these injuries will need to undergo extensive medical care, and, unfortunately, will be out of work while focusing on her recovery. It can be difficult to ask for help so we are asking for it on her behalf. Dee has shown her limitless love and care for others and we would like to return this support as she faces this challenging time.
