Hi, my name is Dee.

I’m a queer writer currently struggling to afford both my mental health medication and safe housing. Right now, I’m living in my parents’ home, but the environment has become increasingly toxic and unsafe. It has reached the point where my ability to work, sleep, and even function day-to-day is being torn down by constant fear and emotional strain.My parents and sister are emotionally abusive, and staying here any longer is destroying my mental health. I need to leave as soon as possible. Winter is approaching, and every day I stay here, my situation becomes more unstable.I’m dedicated to my writing—I’ve already published articles online and am currently working on a book I hope to release by the summer of 2026. But in order to focus on my work, my healing, and my future, I need stable housing and a safe environment where I can finally breathe and create freely.If you are able to donate, it would mean the world to me.
