DeJunia, or Aunt Dee as we lovingly call her, is my aunt and the godmother to my daughter. Though we aren’t related by blood, she is family in every way that matters. DeJunia is from Texas and is one of the most down-to-earth, real, and inspirational people I know. We are so much alike, and I love her to death. She’s always been there for me and for so many others, offering support, wisdom, and a listening ear whenever it’s needed.

This past year has been especially tough for DeJunia. She’s faced a lot of health challenges, with countless appointments and surgeries that have taken a toll on her spirit. Despite everything, she continues to inspire those around her with her strength and positivity. As her birthday approaches, I want nothing more than to give her a joyful, stress-free celebration—a chance to relax, feel special, and know how deeply she’s loved.

With your help, I hope to treat DeJunia to a day of pampering and fun. I want her to enjoy a spa day, get her nails done, have a wonderful dinner, and maybe even pick out a beautiful dress for herself. If she’s feeling up to it, she can spend the evening out, doing something she truly enjoys. My wish is for her to have a birthday free from worry, surrounded by love and kindness.
