I am creating this Go Fund Me on behalf of my very good friend, Dee (Delores) Getz. Dee has always been a very hardworking woman who would choose not to burden anyone by asking for help. So I will ask for help for her. Dee has been battling breast cancer since February. This is her third bout with cancer in recent years. And like the previous two times, this has been a battle. It has been a long road and extremely difficult. She has undergone chemo in the last few months and has ended up in the hospital twice, very ill because of her body's reaction to it. Dee had surgery recently that was more extensive, with a longer recovery time, than her doctors had thought it would be. Soon she will be starting radiation.

Dee has not needed financial help until now. She and her husband, Lester, and her son, Thomas, have done everything that they can to make it through this. But Dee has been unable to work and will continue to be out during recovery and radiation. Needless to say, without her income and with many medical bills and copays, they are struggling financially.
