I’m raising money for my one of my best friends Dee Dee. Dee Dee is going through some financial issues due to her Diabetes and Bone disease. Due to Covid and the loss of her job she lost her medical insurance. As a result she is having to pay cash for her entire 7 day hospital stay plus her “at home” care for a week until insurance from the exchange kicks in. That premium itself is very expensive but necessary due to her health issues.

She has been diagnosed with Osteomyelitis. Which is an infection in her bone. In this case it’s in her foot and has spread into a few of her bones in her foot. Infections can reach bone by traveling the blood stream or by spreading from nearby tissue. Because of this, the treatment is dire to save her from loosing her foot.

We are not trying to obtain a huge amount to cover all her bills, just enough to help with the treatments shown in the photos. Plus nursing care at home. We have a picture of the wound that started all of this upon request but it’s gross. I won’t post it but if you need proof I will send it to you privately. Anything you can send is greatly appreciated.
