Help Dee Dee Ease the Living of Life with Pancreatic Cancer

Raising funds to support Darlene’s (Dee Dee, as we all know and love her) cancer treatment, medications, and living expenses.

Note: Tracy Peterson (Daughter-in-Law) is raising funds for Darlene and Denny Peterson and they will be the sole beneficiaries of these funds.

As many family and friends are aware, Dee Dee has been battling cancer for some time now and even moved from Illinois back out to California to receive more extensive treatments. Most recently, she went in for a pancreatic procedure with the hopes of a positive outcome but, unfortunately, when the surgeons were inside her body, they discovered that the cancer had spread and that the procedure was no longer possible. Dee Dee is home recovering now but will begin palliative care with a nurse coming to visit her once a week at home to provide her with everything that she will need to keep her as comfortable as possible. She will also begin chemotherapy again to try and prolong her life a bit longer so she can spend as much time with her family, friends, and to get her affairs in order for herself and for her husband, Denny.

We firmly believe the power of unity and collective generosity can make a difference. This is why we have created this GoFundMe campaign, to provide the necessary financial assistance that will alleviate the burdens associated with medical treatments, medications, and the continued living expenses, allowing Dee Dee to focus fully on herself.

We have witnessed firsthand the positive impact Dee Dee has made in the lives of so many friends and family through selfless acts of kindness, her unwavering support, and her love for everyone around her. Now, it is our chance to reciprocate that love and support during this extremely difficult time, not only for her but also her husband.
