My name is Brooke, I’ve created this gofundme on behalf of my mother Dee Ann Scordel. She has chosen to be a living donor and donate one of her kidneys to a childhood friend. However, my mother is a disabled veteran who lives on a very limited income and can not make this happen without a little help. She will be traveling from Pensacola FL to Atlanta GA a minimum of 3 times for testing and the actual donation. She will be staying in Atlanta several days throughout the process. Travel and hotel etc are costs she will have to cover and they are just not doable for her.
