Declan just turned 8 in December, and he’s been my sweet, mellow companion through so much. He’s incredibly personable—he loves children, cats, and really everyone he meets. Over the past week, Declan has been struggling and straining to go to the bathroom, and he’s lost 5 pounds in just a few days. After many visits to our regular vet trying to get answers, the radiograph showed a mass in his colon or urinary tract.

Declan now has an appointment with a specialist for a CT scan and colonoscopy to find out what’s going on and how we can help him. These tests, and any treatment that follows, are going to be expensive, and I’m worried about how I’ll be able to afford everything he needs.
