Help Decks and Spas Rebuild!

On Wednesday, September 12th, 2018,  Decks and Spas, a family-owned business of 20 years, was completely devasted by a fire. It happened in the middle of the night, and the cause of the fire is still unknown. They lost everything.

They have insurance, but only a third can be recovered, which leaves a large funding gap for getting their business up and running once more. ALL donated funds will go toward making them whole again and keeping their 15 employees afloat while they rebuild.

Dan and Si, the owners, are some of the most caring and giving people around and do anything to help their customers and community. As a customer of nine years, I myself have been a beneficiary of their kindness. Now is the time for our community to help them.

What it takes to recover the business:

We are hoping to raise the first $100,000, which, combined with the insurance, will allow them to open their doors and serve the community again. To give you a sense of how much it takes to restore the business, here is a breakdown of the estimated budget.

One month employee salaries: $40,000
One month of rent: $8,000
Replacing inventory: $65,000
Building out a new showroom: $50,000
Replacing office equipment, computers, and IT: $12,000
Replacing tools: $20,000
Marketing: $5,000

Any and all support is so greatly appreciated. Please donate what you can and help spread the word to help rebuild their wonderful business.
