Hi - My name is Jude. I am 10 years old. My best friend, Harris, and I are trying to raise money to help our dog, Decker, see again. He is a tri-color Australian Shepherd who is six years old. He was diagnosed with juvenile cataracts at age 4. He is almost completely blind. It costs around $5000 to get his eyes fixed. Decker is a very energetic dog that loves to explore and play. It is very sad to see Decker run into fire hydrants, trash cans, and other dogs when he is walking outside. He has lots of bruises on his nose. Other dogs get angry with him because he bumps into them on walks and they growl at him. In spite of Decker's disability, he still has a very good life. We just think it would be better if he could see again. We are hoping Decker can have cataract surgery this summer. He has an appointment scheduled for July 27, 2021.
