This afternoon, tragedy struck in South Raleigh near Rock Quarry Road.

DeCarlos Steven’s — a devoted father and hardworking man — lost his home and everything he owns in a devastating fire.

In just a few short hours, a lifetime of memories, belongings, and hard work was reduced to ashes. DeCarlos escaped safely, but the full extent of the loss is still being understood.

He’s now facing the unimaginable — starting from nothing while trying to process everything that’s happened. This fundraiser is to help DeCarlos begin rebuilding his life, covering immediate essentials, temporary housing, and the long road toward recovery.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a real difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
