Debre Mitak Amanuel and Kidane Mihiret Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church was established in March 2008 to serve the Ethiopian Orthodox community in Maryland and surrounding areas. Over the years, our congregation has grown and so has our need for a suitable worship space.

Currently, we are renting out a facility that restricts our core spiritual practices — such as the use of incense and candles — and offers no dedicated space for children during services. Additionally, service days are limited and prevent us from fully practicing our faith. We now have an opportunity to purchase a church building which includes a certificate of occupancy for 150 people. The property is located just 20 minutes from our current location, making it easily accessible to most members.

Your contribution will help us continue our mission to serve the faithful, support apostolic work, educate our youth, and help those in need — all while preserving the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the Ethiopian Orthodox faith.
