My family is grieving the loss of my cousins home in Altadena, California. Grieving because it was the home of many family events. Feeling loss and overwhelmed at the thought of her having to find the courage to move forward and rebuild the life she had in Altadena. My cousin Debra is a proud woman that has never asked for anything from anyone. I feel compelled to reach out to her community to help her jump start her life again. With the uncertainty of how long the insurance company will take to help her, I’m reaching out. We're seeking support to cover unexpected costs and to get her back on her feet. These funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid. Your help will allow us to address the many aspects of recovery and support our family through this crisis. Debra and her family have been in Altadena for over 40 years. Debra’s home was the meeting place for all that know her. A home we celebrate birthdays, wedding's, her husband’s homecoming in 2020. She prided herself on her beautiful garden. She encouraged her neighbors to brighten up the neighborhood with Christmas decorations. We are all mourning the loss of her home.
