For the last 16 years the Harpswell and Brunswick preschool children have had the joy of being students of Deb Norton of the Harpswell Nature School. Her students created treasure out of trash, told stories of wonder and magic, found salamanders under every stump, and felt the safety of an adult that embraced childlike wonder, while teaching them the beauty of play and friendship. On July 15th Deb passed away unexpectedly. Her children are needing help with end of life expenses. With consideration to all that she has given to our community with her tender care of our most vulnerable population, I'm hoping we can help them cope with the financial burden that accompanies this grief.
