My name is Debra. I was married to the most amazing man for 14 years, whose name was Bill. I fondly called him my Mato and he in turn fondly called me his Kiwi. Sadly he died unexpectedly from heart and respiratory failure yesterday on December 31, 2024.

Bill was only 53-years-old at the time of his death. He had been struggling with health issues for the past 3 years, pertaining to his hip, knee, and severe cellulitis in both legs. This rendered him unable to walk, at which time he became bedridden. As a result of this he gained so much weight that his doctors kept postponing his surgery.

I never could have imagined that he would die. I am devastated.

I'm in need of help to bury my husband. Bill was a hard working, passionate, loving husband, and a good friend who would have done anything to help anyone.
