This is Debra and Larry. They live in New Port Richey, Florida. Hurricane Helene unexpectedly and unfortunately had a really high surge behind her that took everything from them: their home, clothes, appliances, and cars. They lived in their home for 16 years through hundreds of hurricanes, and they have never been flooded until now.

Thankfully, they had an amazing samaritan save them with his canoe. After the water had gotten so high, so fast, they had to get to the roof for safety.

Debbie and Larry both work in the trades; she is a hairdresser and he is a bricklayer. Believe me, we know times are hard for everyone. Just a small donation would make a huge difference to get them back on their feet. Thank you all for just reading our story.
