On Saturday, March 15, 2025, Deborah Sweitzer left home ahead of the predicted storms to go and be with her parents, who are older, only to receive a call in the middle of the night making her aware that her home in Clanton, Alabama, was now no longer there. As a tornado hit the area, it left her mobile home as nothing more than a pile of debris. This was devastating news as Deborah had just lost her car the month prior due to her vehicle being totaled when she was t-boned in Wetumpka. Deborah is a single mom and currently substitutes at the school to earn a living. She is currently having to start over and just trying to get up enough money so that she can find a place for her and her youngest, who’s 13 years old. Anything sent will go towards her getting back on her feet.
