Help Deborah & Nyah Repair Their Home

My name is Leah Schmidt and I'm starting this gofundme for my best friend Deborah Petrovitch and her daughter Nyah. On November 15, she was evacuated at 4:30 am due to the flood in Merritt. She had sewage back up insurance but not overland water as she wasn't in the flood plain. With water pouring into her basement and 3 feet of water in her yard, she was able to grab her dog, 2 cats and a backpack and first responders helped her leave. A few hours later, the water was 5 feet deep in her basement ruining her furnace, hot water tank, washer, dryer, freezer and fridge. Her whole basement will have to be gutted and redone, delaying her plans to rent her basement suite out for extra income to help her daughter through her last year of university. Her yard, fence, deck and shed are ruined. She is all on her own and she really needs help to get through this. Any small amount helps and is so appreciated.
