Help Deborah Laurent Rebuild After Hurricane

Former Portsmouth teacher and reading specialist from Portsmouth, VA, Deborah Laurent, and husband Hayden lost their home and both cars in a recent hurricane. Their mountain home in Spruce Pines, NC, was destroyed along with their vehicles.

Let’s show this retired teacher how much she is loved and how much we appreciate the dedication she gave to the students at Olive Branch Elementary School and Portsmouth City Schools. Her humble spirit, love for children, and love for teaching were obvious to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and working with Deborah. Now is the time to show up for her just like she showed up for our children❤️
