Help Deborah Gooch Recover and Heal

On April 6th, Deborah Gooch was spending her typical Sunday morning the way she does every week, attending church. Deborah, known as Nana Deb to so many, experienced a ruptured aneurysm and collapsed while singing in the choir. This was a sudden and tragic event that none of us were prepared for.

Nana Deb underwent emergency brain surgery that Sunday and is currently in ICU at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. Since the surgery, she has experienced ups and downs in her recovery, including a small stroke last week. We are happy to share that she is making progress, but the long-term effects are still unknown.

We are hopeful that she will be able to come home soon, and know that her journey to healing will be a long one. It is not certain if she will be able to return to work. Every dollar collected will go directly to her medical bills, personal expenses, and any necessary medical equipment she may need. The family is deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide during this incredibly challenging time.
