Help Deborah get through treatment and recovery

Hi friends! I started this account for my Mom, Deborah Gregson. In November this year she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, which is a type of breast cancer. Although this type of cancer is common and most women are able to beat it, unfortunately for my mom, the cancer has also spread. It is unclear right now how far it got, and so my mom has a really tough few months ahead of her filled with surgeries, and chemotherapy - with her first surgery being on December 23rd.

If you know my mom, you know that she is an extremely hard working person doing very important and impactful work for her community, and she loves doing it. But, fighting an illness like this is not easy, and she will need to take a break from working to get through these next few months. We would love to see her not have to worry about missing that income, or stress about losing her business.

Your generosity would mean she can take a few months off to focus on recovering and getting healthy so she's with us for many more years to come, and can finish the work she set out to do. With enough of a financial cushion she will be able to hire someone to fill in for her at the business and relieving some of that stress that will help make her recovery even better.

My mom is an important part of so many peoples lives, she has been taking care of other people since she was a kid, and she really would give the clothes on her back for anyone in need. She would also never ask for something like this herself, which is exactly why she deserves it so much.
