It is with deep sadness I am writing this. Our family was struck with a horrible tragedy this week when we got the heart wrenching call on Sunday saying that our beloved Mother, and Nana, was being rushed into emergency brain surgery after being in a horrific hit and run accident on 120. She hung on all week giving us hope that she would pull through, but unfortunately yesterday they pronounced her brain dead. Please keep her children, grandchildren, and entire family in your thoughts and prayers as we navigate the next extremely difficult days, weeks, and months to come. This is a loss that will not come lightly, and will hurt our hearts forever. As many of you who knew Debi know that she was the light of our lives. She lit up every room she walked into, and not just from her bright red hair, but from her huge personality, her beautiful unforgettable smile, from the kindness she showed everyone from the moment she would meet you, she was always the life of the party, and now nobody’s parties will ever be the same.  Tragedy has not been kind to our family the last few years, if you know Debi than you know she lost the love of her life, Ed, less than two years ago and within less than 6 months after that she also lost her mother as well. This leaves her youngest child and only daughter with neither of her parents to lean on, her two sons without a mother, her two grand daughters without their precious Nana, and any future grandchildren will never have the privilege of being spoiled absolutely rotten by her.I, her daughter in law Ashley, am creating this GoFundMe not only with the hope of helping her kids with the unexpected funeral costs, but also in hopes that it can help them with any other costs they might incur along the way.All of the prayers, love, support, thoughts, and patience are more than appreciated at this time.
