Help Debi and Kids Rebuild After Fire

Hello, Friends & Neighbors!

As many of you read or viewed on Facebook and in the Chronicle-Telegram, there was a fire in an apartment building on W. River Rd. in Elyria on 4/18. My sister and her kids were one of the families devastated by the tragedy. By God's good grace, she and her kids and neighbors all made it out safely! (And they finally found her missing fur baby Reesie, alive in the rubble!! ❤️)

Unfortunately, many of the residents, including my sister, lost everything or almost everything in their homes. :( This GoFundMe is for my sister Debi and her kids. Though the fire started two units over, the smoke and water damage from the hoses, collapsed all of her ceilings down and destroyed everything in their unit including their beds, couches, clothes, TV, and all of their belongings. They are homeless as of right now. :( The Red Cross was able to assist with some funding that will help them for a few days, but they have nothing after that and their future home is uncertain as of right now. They and their fur babies are staying separately with different family members until they can get back on their feet and secure a new place. She already lost her car recently when it was totaled by a young driver that ran a stop sign and slammed into her and their parents' insurance is trying to deny the claim. They say, when it rains, it pours, and it is definitely pouring now. :( My sister and her kids have been through so much they have had to overcome already, the last few years, and I am proud of them. Debi is always there for everyone when she can be, and she never asks for anything in return. ❤️ No one deserves this, but especially not my big-hearted sister. Please help if you are able! Of course, I'm going to do whatever I can, too! ❤️

I know times are hard for a lot of us right now, but if you can afford to spare any little thing to help them get through this, we would all be forever grateful! ❤️❤️❤️
