Debbie and Tom Bowerman, my stepdad TJ Bowerman’s parents, lost their entire home to a devastating fire in Bishop Estates, Texas this past week. Everything was destroyed—nothing was left except an outdoor car port, and they are now faced with the challenge of starting over in their early 70s. Tom’s health issues make this situation even more difficult, and the loss has been overwhelming for our family.

Right now, Debbie and Tom need help covering living expenses and basic necessities while they wait for their insurance to come through. They will have to pay for the most basic items—like clothing, toothbrushes, and all other necessities we take for granted—as needed as they adjust to finding a new home and restarting their lives. Currently, they are staying with their son while awaiting a hotel room but will have to cover costs upfront before insurance, and space is tight. The funds raised will go directly toward these essentials, helping them get back on their feet during this incredibly tough time.
