Help Debbie See Clearly Again
Donation protected
On April 2 this year, my mom Debbie told me she might have to go blind. My name is Darlene and I've spent my entire life seeing Debbie as a superhero. Now she needs help to see clearly again.
An avid reader (Danielle Steele is a favorite), Debbie has struggled with deteriorating eyesight for several years. She finally saved enough money for double cataract surgery. The catch: she now needs corneal scraping on both eyes before she can undergo the cataract surgery. This additional procedure is known as Superficial Keratectomy. It removes unevenness on the eye surface; without the corneal scraping, the cataract surgeries will probably fail to restore Debbie's vision.
These expenses are too much to absorb and will likely cost Debbie her sight. She's never asked for help before. She made raising my older sister and I look easy, even when she struggled. She's always been there for us. She's dealt with everything life has thrown her way and always put other's first. Now it's my turn to put her first. This campaign for $1,200 will cover her doctor's visits, the corneal scraping procedures, and the double cataract surgeries. Her first procedure is on April 28.
If you are able, please consider donating to help Debbie see clearly again. Any amount helps and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
