My name is Andy East, and my mom, Debbie East, is having a very tough start to the year. She was hospitalized on Dec. 29 with multiple blood clots in her lungs and leg. She had to wait in the emergency room for more than a day because there were no beds available. This is the third time that she has been hospitalized with blood clots and things have been difficult. Luckily, she is doing OK and was released from the hospital. However, she has not been able to go to work and may not be able to for some time as she recovers and doesn't have savings. She can only take a few steps before running out of breath and doctors think it could be a couple months before she is fully back to normal and can more normal hours. She desperately needs help with rent, utilities, medication, and medical bills. Her expenses are piling up quickly and many are already due. She believes in miracles and is needing one now. Any help that you can provide would be a tremendous help as she goes through this tough time and tries to get back on her feet.
