DEVASTATING FIRE Help Debbie Recover Her Life

Donation protected
All donations will go toward replacement of the RV and contents.

Having my RV completely destroyed by fire is still a very raw story for me. I'm experiencing quite a bit of trauma so I'm sorry this will be fairly short until I can get more info written for everyone. A friend is giving me temporary shelter but as of yet I don't have any plans for the future other than I need to get another RV. My Excel Peterson fifth wheel was totally paid off with my savings so I have been left penniless as a newly retired person with a fixed income. Any amount you can donate would be wonderful no amount too small but most importantly please leave a comment. That will mean the world to me.
The full story of the RV with photos is on the Pilot Point Texas Police Department website, which I believe is a Facebook page. So, regarding the fire, I had it parked at a local RV park while I was renovating it and had just completed the last bits like trim and a shower door replacement.
The fire started in my neighbors RV at 1:30 in the morning just before Christmas. Luckily I was still awake after a long day of cleaning when I heard people shouting. I rushed outside to see flames 20 ft in the air, my neighbor's sitting on the ground in her nightgown, and one of her dogs trapped inside in dense black smoke. I tried to help her rescue the dog but it was too late. The wind was blowing and it blew the flames into my RV. I was not able to get anything out of my RV because it quickly filled with smoke and intense heat within seconds. It only took about 5 minutes for both of our RVs too become a pile of hot smoking rubble. People started gathering but not quick enough to help put the fire out. Water hoses had been disconnected because of the freeze warning.
This is all I can talk about right now because it's too emotional one hour I am happy because a friend called me and the next hour I've totally broken down and can't see the point of living it's like a roller coaster up and down every hour and sleeping is out of the question.
I'm sorry this is really all I can write for now and I know people have so many questions all I can say is no the lady who's RV started the fire did not have insurance and the RV park has not volunteered their insurance information to me. Insurance companies a lot cover people who are living full-time in their RVs. RV's are vehicles not homes. And no, I don't have children or family to help me. Unfortunately, in this disaster, I was a victim, but for now I'm going to call myself a survivor. I will update this description as soon as I can. Right now, I'm just having trouble keeping my chin up. Thanks for your understanding. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
