Help Keith and Debbie Lay Their Son Tyler to Rest

Hi, my name is Jacque Lawless, Debbie’s cousin, and I’m raising funds to help cover the upcoming costs of funeral expenses for Tyler. He is currently in Hospice Care and is being kept comfortable so that he is not in pain. Both Debbie and Keith, Tyler’s dad, are devoted parents who are about to suffer the unimaginable loss of their son, Tyler, at just 29 years old.

Just before Thanksgiving, Tyler became seriously ill. What initially seemed like pneumonia quickly escalated when he began struggling to breathe and his heart was racing. He was rushed to the emergency room, where doctors discovered nodules throughout his lungs. Further testing revealed Stage 4 sarcoma, an extremely aggressive cancer that began in his thigh muscle and spread rapidly.

Tragically, the cancer was not curable. Tyler’s body could not tolerate chemotherapy, and despite every effort, his organs began to fail.

Surrounded by love, Tyler is currently on hospice care, and is going to be leaving behind a heartbroken family.

Both and Keith and Debbie, as well as Tyler’s brothers, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and closest friends have remained by Tyler’s side throughout his illness. His parents are now facing the overwhelming reality of funeral  expenses, along with lost income from time away from work. No parent should have to worry about finances while grieving the loss of a child.

This fundraiser is meant to help relieve some of that burden and help cover some of Tyler’s upcoming funeral expenses so that both Keith and Debbie can focus on mourning, healing, and honoring Tyler’s life.
