Please help Debbie Sipes kick cancer's ass!

To know Debbie is to love her.  For me personally, she is the most selfless and supportive friend I’ve ever had.  She’s given me more unconditional love than a puppy ever could.  With less clean up.

She was first diagnosed with breast cancer five years ago.  It’s been a rough road ever since. She’s the first close friend to have cancer, and I had no idea the havoc the chemo wreaks on the human body.  Any terrible side effect that is possible, I feel like Debbie has dealt with it. We all know people lose their hair, but other things are affected; losing nails, speech and memory issues.  Chemo even did permanent damage to Debbie’s teeth, causing expensive dental work.  There were more even complications with the implant being rejected by her body too. The long and short: everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.  The fatigue and stress caused Debbie to not to be able to work that much. Nevertheless, she persisted and was able to make it all by herself.

Just as she was getting her career back on track with multiple photo sessions booked, cancer strikes again.  The breast cancer spread to her spine.  All summer she has had back pain, in September it became debilitating.  She was worried the whole time that it was cancer and taking precautions, but doctors took x-rays and diagnosed her with three bulging discs.  On November 3rd, she was screaming in pain, went to the ER, they finally took an MRI and saw what ended up being a grapefruit size tumor.  Monday the 5th they performed emergency surgery and they were able to remove most of it but some cancer remains in the spine.  Royal Oak Beaumont expects to have her for another week or two for more treatment and recovery.  Then, once she’s stronger, possibly next week: she starts radiation treatments.   The prognosis: stage 4 metastatic breast cancer which is treatable.

We all know she is a ferocious fighter, she can do this.  It would be great if she could recover without worrying about having to work and paying her medical bills.  Please give what you can, I can’t think of a more worthy person to support.  She is very proud and independent but she really needs her friends right now.
