Help Debbie Fight Her Tumor
Donation protected

As many of you may already know, my momma a.k.a. Debbie Glazer, was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in April. We were able to get her in at the Mayo in Rochester for further examination and consultation. Her surgeon diagnosis is bihemispheric glioma- gliomatosis cerebri.
Gliomatosis cerebri is a primary central nervous system (CNS) tumor. This means it begins in the brain or spinal cord. Gliomatosis cerebri refers to a special pattern of diffuse and extensive growth of glioma cells, invading multiple lobes of the brain. There is nothing surgically that can be done to help her in this fight as the glioma cells (tumor cells) are so entwined and mixed in with with her brain cells any surgery would severely damage the healthy brain cells.
That being said, fight we will. Debbie will be here in Superior with me (Rebecca) for the next several months as we work together with the amazing staff at the Mayo to find the right way forward for her. As you may imagine, this will be impactful to her day to day life on all fronts, but unfortunately that includes the financial side of life as well. If you find yourself in a position to give a little bit, know that she (and ALL of us) will be enormously grateful. Letting her focus on treatment, and the best parts of life - I think we can all agree is the best thing right now. Even if you're not able to donate financially, Debbie needs your good thoughts and prayers, and we welcome those as well.
Thank you all and God Bless.
