Help Debbie Eisenback rebuild after Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Hi all. My name is Shelby Eisenback, and my mother, Debbie Eisenback needs our help. My mom lost EVERYTHING in her Anna Maria Island home due to the catastrophic events from hurricane Helene. Furniture, clothes, electronics, plus irreplaceable sentimental items such as family photos and UofL memorabilia. The few things that could have been salvaged are now covered in mold, as the island is impassable and residents were not allowed on for the first few days after the hurricane made landfall. To make matters worse, my mother suffered a heat stoke over the weekend after walking about two miles to get to her house after residents were allowed on to the island. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance, as I received a phone call from EMS workers, while I was in Los Angeles for work- and unfortunately could not do anything to help her. My mom is doing ok after being released from the hospital, however this has now added an additional financial burden to an already stressful and heartbreaking situation. My mother is the most selfless human being I know, and I can bet my life that she has helped just about every single one of us at some point in time… now it is time to rally around her. She would NEVER ask any one for help, but she needs it. Funds will be spent towards essentials such as clothes, food, bills, and trying to replace everything that was lost. Anything you can contribute will be appreciated, as there are a lot of uncertainties over the next few months as she navigates the aftermath of this horrific event. Creating some normalcy and stability for my mom is the least we can do for her at this time ❤️
