Hi, I'm Debbie and I'm asking for contributions to help with expenses while I fight Stage IV colon cancer.

In December, 2019, I was diagnosed with colon cancer that had metastized to my lungs.

This is very hard for me to ask for help...I have never received any type of public assistance and have worked 2 to 3 jobs to support my family. In January, 2020, I had to cut back to just my full time employment due to cancer treatments. I lost my husband to esophageal cancer in 2008 and have raised 2 daughters on my own.

My mom, who was a single parent, raised me without any public assistance, any taught me a dedicated work ethic, passed away in December, 2020. I was also left with her burial expenses, that friends helped me pay, on top of my medical expenses and living expenses.

I have depleted any savings I had to keep my head above water.

As I said, this is very hard for me to ask for help and I know times are tough right now for everyone. I understand if you are not in a position to donate, but perhaps you can share my story to someone who can.
