Help Deb to her final rest

Today, our sister passed away.

She was a very strong woman, with plans, with aspirations, with love and a desire to make this place a better one. She tried to Experience all life had to offer, try new things and go new places and Be In The Moment.

Deb was a Solitary person, but was never alone. She had friendships with people in a variety of interests and professions. There are high school friends, college friends, Detroit friends, Ann Arbor friends, Book Club, Environmental Activities, Boating, Hiking and more that I cannot even think of. These, YOU, her friends are her legacy. She was touched by so many of you and I hope in turn, she touched your lives. She only ever wanted everyone to be happy and feel loved.

No matter how you met, no matter how long you knew one another, she was invested in your relationship. She’d want you to remember her, but live in your moments. Mourn her in your own way, but carry on. Let her be a light in your life and remember her laugh, her smile, her eye roll and the sparkle she added to all of our lives.

She has asked for a green burial. And no big funeral occasion. We’re honoring that. Her final resting place will be Marble Park Cemetery in Milan MI. She loved MI. We’ve chosen a grave site near a wood line with some native trees nearby. It is an old cemetery- with a rural charm. We’d be glad to give you more information, once everything is arranged.

On behalf of Brian and Myself, and her beloved Nieces, we thank you. You were often there for her best times! You were there with her on many occasions that we weren’t. We love you all for being part of my sister’s story.
