Deb is a beloved member of our Santa Barbara community, known for her warm spirit and the delicious goat cheese she brings to the local farmers market. I have the privilege of working with and for Deb, and over time, she has become like family to me. Her dedication to her craft and her kindness to everyone she meets have made her a true pillar in our neighborhood.

Recently, Deb faced an unexpected and devastating setback. The freezer she relies on at her commercial kitchen suddenly stopped working, threatening her ability to prepare and store her products. Determined to keep her business going, Deb used all her extra funds to purchase a replacement. Tragically, the company she bought from turned out to be a scam, leaving her without a working freezer and in credit card debt. To make matters worse, the company has gone silent, and Deb now needs to pay a mechanic to see if her original freezer can be salvaged.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping Deb pay off the debt from the scam and cover the costs of a mechanic to repair her freezer. By coming together, we can help Deb overcome this difficult situation and ensure her goat cheese stand continues to be a bright spot at our farmers market. Your support will not only ease her financial burden but also help preserve a cherished part of our community.

It is my birthday wish this year to help a local community member and friend out of a very difficult situation. We would be saving a community gem from deep stress and economic uncertainty. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. Thank you for considering a donation to help Deb get back on her feet.
