Everyone who knows her, loves her. My sister, Deb Lankard, is witty and fun. She has the ability to empathize with anyone and has been known to help so many without thinking twice about it.

Because she never wants to be a burden to anyone, she has been pretty quiet about the cancer journey she has been on for the past 3 years. She was diagnosed with lung cancer 3 years ago. She underwent surgery to remove part of a lung and then had several rounds of chemo. After that came 9 months of the immunotherapy, Keytruda. Unfortunately, the Keytruda has wreaked havoc on her body, killing off her pituitary gland as well as her adrenal glands.
