Help Deb in her fight !!!

Update: 8/26…my mom has been out of work about 3 months & has started having “episodes” a few times a week & after months of waiting to see a neurologist (there is a shortage in the state) we can add seizures to the list. Getting an EEG & them under control with medication is now a priority. Surgery had been cancelled by the hospital (no address to be discharged to) and is in the process of being rescheduled for her lymphadenectomy & possibly lower abdomen/pelvic surgery.
She saw a new surgeon 8/22. TDI has her jumping through hoops for next to nothing a week. This has been a nightmare beyond nightmares, for her. 



Hi I’m JJ (Jackson) This is Deb she’s a mom (my mom), a sister & friend. Last December my mom was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. A month later a MRI showed a 2nd tumor. I’m the youngest of 3 sons I’m 15 & this is way more about the brain than I want to know! 2 weeks later she woke up with painful and enlarged lymph nodes. We heard what we didn’t want to hear my mom has cancer. Grade 2 brain cancer. The good news is it’s Primary brain cancer, the bad news is only one tumor can be operated on. Take care of 50% of her problem?! My mom has solely raised my brothers and I. She has worked 50+hours a week, to provide above and beyond for us. The financial BURDEN this has put on her no person should have to go through never mind someone with cancer. What savings she did have is GONE, she’s applied for TDI who knows how long that will take, and it’s believed she’s “not sick enough yet for SSDI” although she has applied for that as well. She has always been there for us & those around her, without a second thought. her smile lights up a room. Unfortunately we have watched her body force her to slow down.  She had started radiation treatments, because of tumor growth, needs lymph node removal in 2 separate areas. Her cancer is progressing. Then she will have Gamma Knife for both of her tumors & more radiation after that. We can add that she has started to experience seizures, physical she simply exhausted. Mentally well I wish I could imagine how she feels add to that the fact we are moving because our landlord wants to sell. The stress is not helping in ANYWAY. She very seldom has been one to ask ANYONE for help… all I asks is if you can donate a dollar please do. If all you can do is share, thank you. I can’t explain how it feels to watch my mom go from NON STOP to needing sleep 12/14 hours a day! Thank you all!
