Help Me Continue My Senior Year at Bowie State University

Hi, my name is Deasia Craig, and I’m a Computer Science major at Bowie State University. I’ve worked hard every semester earning a spot on the Dean’s List for two consecutive years and maintaining a GPA above 3.4. I’ve poured everything into my education because I believe in my future. But now, I'm at risk of not being able to finish.

Bowie State is requesting over $11,000 for me to continue into my senior year. I’ve been told I owe over $8,000 for a semester I was never even enrolled in, and on top of that, they’ve taken away my housing for Fall 2025 because I can’t register for classes. Despite being awarded more than $10,000 in financial aid each semester, much of it was removed with little to no explanation. I’ve spoken with multiple departments, but no one can tell me exactly why I still owe this money.

Now I’m fighting to stay in school, keep my housing, and finish my senior year. I'm reaching out for help because I’ve exhausted all other options.
